Cherry Sauce



Ingredient List: Preparation Instructions:
 


3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
dash salt
1/3 cup water
4 cups fresh or frozen unsweetened cherries, thawed
In a saucepan combine the sugar, cornstarch, and salt.  Stir in water.  Stir in cherries; cook over medium heat and stir until thickened and bubbly.  Cook and stir 1 or 2 minutes more.

Yield:    Enough sauce for topping slices of Cheesecake Pie
